Mains powered, obstacle detection zip motor
Alpha's next generation of obstacle detection zip motors. The WSERD50-T is part of the Alpha Going Green range: a fast, quiet motor that uses less electricity, with a long thermal overload cut-out time so it will not trip after a few cycles.
Reliable obstacle detection on the way down and fabric tensioning on the way up. The S001 wind sensor can also be connected to this motor as an additional safety device, perfect for our Perth coastal installs.

Rechargeable battery motor, no electrician needed
The super quiet WSERD50-B features a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery and is designed for external applications like zip systems and straight drop awnings. No mains wiring required, which makes it perfect for retrofits and locations without a nearby power point.
A range of charging options is available: a head box mounted USB-C port, a side channel USB-C port, or the TYB004-U external USB-C solar panel for true set and forget operation.
