Installing and supplying Outdoor Blinds & Shade solutions in Erskine
Erskine sits on the western shore of the Peel Inlet, and most homes here were built to look at it. That means alfrescos and back verandahs facing east over the water, which are lovely in the morning and exposed to everything the estuary throws up in the evening: a glare off the water, a breeze that swings around in the afternoon, and the midges and mosquitoes that come with living beside a wetland. Outdoor blinds let you keep the outlook and lose the discomfort.
All About Shade installs outdoor blinds throughout Erskine, including the canal homes off Old Coast Road, the estuary front streets and the lifestyle villages that make up a big part of the suburb. We are West Australian owned, an authorised Ziptrak® retailer, and every installation is covered by our 5 Year Guarantee.
What we install most in Erskine
Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds are our most requested product in Erskine. The sealed track keeps the bugs out when the blind is down, the blind stops at any height so you can drop it just far enough to shade a low sun off the water, and mesh keeps the view of the inlet. We have fitted motorised Ziptrak® here alongside Auto Lock Awnings on the same home, which is a good combination when you have a big opening on the alfresco and smaller windows or a porch that just need a quick lever locked blind.
eZIP® Outdoor Blinds are a popular value option for Erskine patios and are often specified with a motor, and Roof to Fence Blinds solve the side patio that runs to a fence and gets the afternoon sun. Where the view matters most and rain is the main issue, Ziptrak® Clear PVC Café Blinds give a clear, sealed panel.
Designed for estuary living
For estuary facing openings we generally suggest a 95 to 97 per cent Visiontex® or Vistaweave® mesh, which cuts glare without shutting the space in. Pelmets and hardware are powder coated aluminium in Colorbond® colours, so they can match an existing patio. The Streamline pelmet with insect control system closes the gap at the top of the blind, which matters when the reason you are buying is to stop the bugs. For lifestyle village residents, we work within any village guidelines on colours and fixing.
