Installing and supplying Outdoor Blinds & Shade solutions in Margaret River
Margaret River gets more than a metre of rain a year, most of it between May and September, and that is the first thing to know about outdoor living here. Verandahs and decks on bush blocks around town, at Cowaramup, Witchcliffe and Forest Grove, need to stop rain as much as sun, and the coast at Prevelly, Gnarabup and Gracetown takes the full westerly off the Indian Ocean on top of it. Then there is the hospitality side: cellar doors, cafés and restaurants with outdoor areas that need to work in a winter front. We have installed outdoor blinds on all of them.
All About Shade installs outdoor blinds throughout Margaret River and the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River, including Cowaramup, Gracetown, Prevelly, Gnarabup, Witchcliffe, Forest Grove, Redgate, Rosa Brook and Augusta. We have a dedicated South West team, so measures, quotes and installations across the region are handled by our own people rather than subcontractors. We are West Australian owned, an authorised Ziptrak® retailer, and every installation carries our 5 Year Guarantee.
What we install most in Margaret River
Ziptrak® Clear PVC Café Blinds do more work here than almost anywhere else we service. Clear or tinted PVC seals a verandah or deck like a window, keeps the view of the bush or the ocean, and turns an outdoor room into a rain blocking one; PVC installations at Margaret River, Forest Grove and a barbecue area at Cowaramup are all in the gallery on this page. Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds in mesh are the pick where privacy, glare and airflow matter more than a dry floor, as on a privacy job in Margaret River and installations at Cowaramup and Redgate.
Many homes combine the two, with PVC on the weather side and mesh on the sun side. eZIP® Outdoor Blinds are our value track guided option where a motor is the priority, Folding Arm Awnings give retractable summer shade over a deck, and a Ziptrak® verandah installation at Augusta shows the products at the southern end of the shire.
A rain blocking outdoor room
One Margaret River job in our gallery is simply called the rain blocking outdoor room, and that is the brief most customers arrive with. Ziptrak® PVC blinds stop rain and wind completely, and Ziptrak® recommends manual operation for PVC, so a pull stick or centre lock release is the usual setup. For mesh we recommend a 95 to 99 per cent Visiontex® or Vistaweave® on the coast and 94 to 97 per cent inland, with the Streamline pelmet insect control system against bush insects. Hardware is powder coated aluminium in Colorbond® colours, with the rust free Streamline pelmet for anything near the ocean.
