Installing and supplying Outdoor Blinds & Shade solutions in Brookton
Brookton is an hour and a half east of Perth on the Brookton Highway, close enough to the city for a day trip and far enough into the Wheatbelt to have its weather: summer days over 40 degrees with hot easterlies, dust and flies, and winter mornings with frost and fog. Homes are farmhouses with deep verandahs, town houses on generous blocks and sheds that double as entertaining areas, and the verandah is where life happens for most of the year once it is protected.
All About Shade regularly quotes and installs outdoor blinds across Brookton and the surrounding Wheatbelt, including Beverley, Pingelly, Corrigin, Cuballing, Wandering, Aldersyde, Kweda and Jelcobine. We are West Australian owned, an authorised Ziptrak® retailer, and every installation carries our 5 Year Guarantee.
What we install most in Brookton
Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds are the most requested product across the Wheatbelt, and a barbecue area enclosure and Ziptrak® blinds at nearby Corrigin and a homestead sun shield at York are in the gallery on this page. Track guided, sealed in their side channels against dust and flies, and able to stop at any height, they close in a verandah while keeping the view over the paddocks. eZIP® Outdoor Blinds are our value track guided option where a motor is the priority, and Crank & Clip Blinds are a simple manual blind for the verandah of an older farmhouse.
Farm verandahs and sheds are often wider than 6 metres, and a removable post splits the span. Folding Arm Awnings give retractable shade over a deck without closing it in, and Roof to Fence Blinds suit a patio that runs to a shed wall or fence.
Heat, dust, flies and no power on the verandah
For inland heat we recommend a 94 to 97 per cent Visiontex® or Vistaweave® mesh that blocks glare while letting air through, so the verandah stays cooler rather than stuffier. The Streamline pelmet with insect control system seals the top of the blind against flies, and a bottom bar weather strip stops dust and wind lifting the blind. In winter, closing the blinds keeps the wind off and holds warmth from a heater. Where there is no power near the verandah or shed, solar powered motors avoid trenching cable, and hardware is powder coated aluminium in Colorbond® colours to match a shed or roof.
