Alpha Pioneer Remotes

The Alpha Pioneer remote range

Alpha Motors Pioneer Remotes

The Pioneer range is the handheld side of Alpha Motors control. Sleek, soft silicone bodies, rolling code security and inter-compatible receivers across every model. Choose a single channel for one blind, a 4 channel for a small grouping, or step up to the LCD 8, 16 or timer versions for full home automation.

Pioneer remotes are designed to live where your blinds live. Soft silicone rubber edges and buttons give the case a bit of give, so the odd accidental drop on the deck or patio is far less of a drama. The LCD models add a clear screen for managing larger systems, with intuitive channel switching and on-screen feedback.

Every Pioneer remote runs on the 433.92 MHz frequency with rolling code security, and pairs directly to any Alpha motor or receiver. Mix and match models across the home to suit each room, then add the Alpha-Neo Link Box if you want to bring the whole system into the app for scheduling and voice

Technical Data

Shared specifications

Every Pioneer remote runs on the same frequency, code type and battery, so receivers and motors stay inter-compatible across the range. The only differences from model to model are channel count, the screen and the timer hardware.

The LCD models carry a slightly wider operating temperature window thanks to their housing, but both LCD and non-LCD remotes are well suited to Australian indoor and covered outdoor conditions.

How They Work

From single channel to whole house

All Pioneer remotes follow the same logic for pairing and group control. Once you understand the basics, scaling up to more channels or adding a timer is just a few extra button presses.

Code Learning

Pair a remote to a motor or receiver by pressing UP and DOWN together, then STOP. The selected channel is now linked.

Single Control

Use K1 or K3 to step through channels, then UP, STOP or DOWN to drive that motor on its own.

Group Control

Long press K2 on an LCD remote to enter group mode, choose the channels you want, then confirm with K2. One command drives the lot.

Time Setting

On the timer models, K1 sets the hour, minute and weekday. STOP returns you to the home screen.

Timing Setting

Set up to 8 open and 8 close points per channel, with weekday selection, for fully automatic open and close routines.

Stopwatch

The RE103-1T includes a built in stopwatch on the home screen, handy for quick timing tasks without needing a phone.

Works With

Fully compatible with the Alpha system

Every Pioneer remote pairs with every Alpha remote control motor, including the WSERD50-T mains and WSERD50-B battery outdoor blind motors. Receivers and remotes are interchangeable, so you can use a single handheld across a mixed system.

Add the Alpha-Neo Link Box and you can layer app control and voice control on top of your handheld setup, without having to choose between them. The remote stays as the day to day driver, the app takes over for scheduling and remote access.

The Alpha Motors Range

Pick the part of the system you want to explore

Alpha Motors comes in three groups: the controllers that drive the system, the tubular motors that power your blinds, and the accessories that keep them running.

Controllers

Alpha Motors Controllers

The Alpha control range: the Alpha-Neo app and link box for smart home and voice control with Siri, Google, Alexa and Matter, plus the soft touch Pioneer remote line up from single channel through to 16 channel and 4 channel timer models.

Motors

Alpha Outdoor Blind Motors

The Alpha WSERD50-T mains powered and WSERD50-B rechargeable battery motors for outdoor zip and straight drop blinds. Obstacle detection, fabric tensioning, three selectable speeds and a long thermal overload cut out time for years of quiet, reliable operation.

Accessories

Alpha Motors Accessories

Alpha accessories for set and forget battery motorisation: the TYB004-U external USB-C solar panel and matching TYB-bracket keep the WSERD50-B rechargeable battery motor topped up year round, no electrician required.

Remotes

Alpha Pioneer Remotes

The Alpha Pioneer remote range: soft touch silicone, rolling code security and inter compatible with every Alpha motor. Pick from single channel, 4 channel, 4, 8 or 16 channel LCD models, or the 4 channel timer remote with day of the week scheduling.
