Afternoons would cause a whole side of the house to become extremely uncomfortable as overwhelming heat pierced through the windows. Combined with a lack of privacy due to the closely neighbouring property this home in Quinns Rocks was left feeling overexposed. This was a less-than-ideal situation that saw the client always keeping their blinds closed, creating an extremely dark and gloomy home with no natural light.
As a solution, we installed Roof to Fence Blinds. They provide protection from the direct sunlight hitting the windows which not only creates shade but greatly decreases the rate at which temperatures inside rise. Saving this family from the heat and saving them money on cooling costs.
Their new blinds add value to the home, shielding from any prying eyes that may be overlooking their fence while allow for indoor blinds to remain open and let in natural daylight.
For this installation 3 x Roof to Fence Blinds were selected to create a perfect patio area. All the aluminium components were Powder Coated in Surf Mist to work with the existing surroundings to provide a seamless finish.
To provide the UV protection HVG Fabrics supplied Visiontex® Plus Mesh in Bluestone with 99% UV protection. For your job we have a huge range of options and colours including 85% all the way up to 99%.
