This was an almost perfect entertaining area for backyard BBQs and lazy days outside. However, this client was finding the afternoon sun, and the strong winds had them retreating indoors.

Keen to host friends and family over the summer break they were looking for a solution that allowed them to make the most of their set up. We were able to enclose this patio area and use HVG Fabrics Visiontex® Mesh to block out those harsh summer rays.

It was also important to still have easy access to the grassed area with the blinds down. By installing a pole that split the main shade in two we were able to add a door section that could remain open when needed. This has also been great when a little extra airflow is desired when sitting on the lounge.

For this installation 3 x motorised Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds with extra heavy bottom rails were selected to enclose the area. All the aluminium components were Powder Coated in Surfmist to work with the existing surroundings to provide a seamless finish.

To provide the UV protection HVG Fabrics supplied Visiontex® Plus Mesh in Carbon Black with 94% UV protection. For your job we have a huge range of options and colours including 85% all the way up to 99%.
