This beautiful balcony has been transformed into a comfortable outdoor retreat with the addition of a Ziptrak® cable-guided blind.

Previously exposed to the wind, harsh afternoon sun and neighbours wondering eyes, the space can now be enjoyed in almost any weather. The blind helps reduce heat and glare, shields the balcony from windy conditions and creates a greater sense of privacy without completely blocking the outlook. During the day, the mesh fabric allows you to enjoy the view out while making it much harder for others to see in.

When the weather is perfect, the blind retracts away in seconds, allowing the balcony to feel open and unrestricted. But when the wind picks up or the sun becomes too intense, it can be lowered just as quickly to create a sheltered, private space that’s perfect for relaxing or entertaining.

Whether it’s a quiet morning coffee, an afternoon with friends or watching the sunset at the end of the day, this balcony is now a far more versatile space that can be enjoyed comfortably throughout the year.

For this installation 1 x Ziptrak Cable Guided Blind was selected to enclose the area. All aluminium components were powder coated including the Aluminium Hood boxes which work with the existing surroundings, helping create a clean, integrated finish. Vistaweave® 95 Mesh was selected in Storm to provide UV protection.
