Loving the seamless indoor-outdoor feel of their home this client was finding the harsh afternoon sun and strong wind too much for their backyard entertaining.

While the area was great in Spring and Autumn the heat of the Perth summer and the cold of the winter became too much. With the afternoon sun shining in it was unbearable and they were getting very little use out of the space at all.

With a great space to use the client needed an area where they could enjoy each other’s company outside without melting in the heat or having all their napkins blown off the table. They also didn’t want to compromise the view of the garden, so they turned to us for a solution.

For this installation 3 x motorised Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds with extra heavy bottom rails were selected to enclose the area. All the aluminium components were Powder Coated in Monument to work with the existing surroundings to provide a seamless finish.

To provide the UV protection HVG Fabrics supplied Visiontex® Plus Mesh in Graphite with 94% UV protection. For your job we have a huge range of options and colours including 85% all the way up to 99%.

Now this area is the perfect year round entertaining space able to block the sun in Summer, retain the heat in winter, and provide privacy throughout.
