Mindarie | Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds

In this new Mindarie home, stunning ocean views were often interrupted by heat and strong afternoon winds in the summer as well as rain and cold across winter.

The clients chose to install Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds that enclose their back deck to gain maximum use of the space. Given the intense WA sun, they wanted to make sure they could block out the heat and coastal winds to enjoy their new backyard as much as possible.

Rather than being able to relax and enjoy a cup of tea while looking out at the beach, cold temperatures and strong rain limited use of their lovely balcony. By completely enclosing the space, the area is now sheltered from sideways rain and heat can be trapped inside creating a warm and cosy environment. Perfect for watching the sunset!

For this installation 7 x Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds with extra heavy bottom rails were selected to enclose the area. All the aluminium components were Powder Coated in Dune to work with the existing surroundings to provide a seamless finish.

To provide the UV protection HVG Fabrics supplied Visiontex® Plus Mesh in Havana with 94% UV protection. For your job we have a huge range of options and colours including 85% all the way up to 99%.
