This Dawesville installation was designed for an elevated outdoor entertaining area with beautiful views, but also plenty of exposure to the elements.
Being one level up, the space is a great place to relax and enjoy the outlook. The trade-off is that hot afternoon sun and strong breezes can move through the area, making it less comfortable at certain times of day.
By installing motorised Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds, the owners now have an easy way to control the space without giving up the view. With the click of a button, the blinds can be lowered to reduce glare, soften the wind and create a more comfortable area to sit as the sea breeze rolls in.
It is a practical setup for coastal-style living, where the outdoor area is one of the best parts of the home but still needs protection when conditions change.
For this installation, motorised Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds were selected to improve comfort across an upper-level outdoor entertaining area.
The motorised setup makes it easy to adjust the blinds as conditions change throughout the day. When the afternoon sun becomes too strong or the breeze starts moving through, the blinds can be lowered quickly to create a more protected space. When conditions are calm, they can be raised again to keep the area open.
All aluminium components were powder coated to suit the existing structure, helping the blinds sit neatly within the space. The Graphite mesh provides a clean, understated finish while helping reduce glare, UV exposure, heat and wind.
