Installed in: Falcon, 6210
This Falcon installation is a great example of outdoor blinds being used to make a valuable family space more comfortable.
The outdoor entertaining area looks out across the backyard, with space for the family to sit, eat and keep an eye on the kids playing outside. Because the whole area is not fully enclosed, the goal was not to turn it into an indoor room. It was to reduce the impact of sun and wind so the space could be used more comfortably.

By combining Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds with Roof to Fence Blinds, the owners now have more control over the exposed sides of the entertaining area. The blinds help cut back harsh sun, soften wind moving through the space, and make the area feel more usable across more of the year.
It is a practical setup for a family home where the outdoor area is part of everyday living, not just a space used on perfect-weather days.
For this installation, a combination of Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds and Roof to Fence Blinds was selected to improve comfort across the outdoor entertaining area.
The combination gives the owners different types of protection across the space. Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds provide track-guided coverage where needed, while the Roof to Fence Blinds help manage larger exposed openings and create a more protected feel without fully closing the area in.
All aluminium components were powder coated to work with the existing surroundings, helping the installation sit neatly within the home’s outdoor area. HVG Fabrics supplied Visiontex® Plus Mesh in Deep Ocean and Dakota, offering 94% UV protection.
