Wanting to get the most out of their BBQ set up all year-round this family needed a way to block the sideways rain and the strong wind. With the porch extension taking up a significant portion of the backyard, it was essential utilised the space to its full potential.

After reviewing the options, it was decided that PVC blinds were the perfect solution for this situation. They block all the rain and wind but can be quickly retracted when the sun comes out or the wind dies off.
This instillation meant while enjoying a home cooked meal together, this client and their family were shielded from the elements whether it be rain, wind or anything else mother nature throws your way.
For this installation 3 x PVC Ziptrak® Outdoor Café Blinds were selected to enclose the area. A horizontal join instead of a vertical join was used to minimise visual impact and tint poly was used to shield from the sun.

To keep this installation looking good for years to come all the aluminium components were Powder Coated in white to work with the existing surroundings and provide a seamless finish.
