In Waikiki, the outdoor area at the side of the home was exposed to strong sun, wind, and rain, which made the space difficult to use comfortably throughout the year.
Roof to fence outdoor blinds were an obvious and practical solution. The area is now far more protected from the elements while still allowing airflow and natural light through the fabric. The blinds help reduce glare and heat from the sun while also providing shelter from wind and light rain.
This creates a more practical and comfortable space that can be used year round, whether for storage, access, or general outdoor use. The addition of the blinds also helps keep the area cleaner by reducing leaves, debris, and dust blowing through.
Overall, the installation transforms what was once an exposed walkway into a more sheltered and functional outdoor space.
For this installation 4 x Roof to Fence Blinds were selected to enclose the area. All the aluminium components were Powder Coated in Deep Ocean to work with the existing surroundings to provide a seamless finish.
To provide the UV protection VistaWeave Max Mesh was selected in Charcoal. VistaWeave Max is designed for areas where seclusion and all-weather protection are essential.
