During the height of summer, this western-facing backyard was exposed to intense afternoon sun, making the outdoor area uncomfortable to use. We installed eZIP® outdoor blinds to block out heat and glare while still allowing cooling airflow through the space, meaning the homeowners can stay comfortable without feeling closed in.
With limited outdoor space, the new blinds have transformed the alfresco into a far more usable area. It’s now a versatile, shaded zone that’s perfect for hosting summer BBQs or keeping an eye on the kids while they play on the lawn.
For this installation 2 x eZIP® Outdoor Blinds with hoodboxes were selected to enclose the area. All the aluminium components were Powder Coated in Monument to work with the existing surroundings and provide a seamless finish.
To provide the UV protection HVG Fabrics supplied Visiontex® Perform Mesh in Graphite with 94% UV protection. For your job we have a huge range of options and colours including 85% all the way up to 99%.
