Lantern on the Quay, a restaurant known for its delectable authentic Cantonese cuisine, underwent a spectacular enhancement that showcases the power of innovative design and quality materials.
With the installation of:
– 6 x Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds,
– 2 x Curved Removable Fixed Panels, and
– 4 x Removable Posts,
the restaurant’s outdoor area has been elevated to new heights of comfort and functionality.
Crafting the Ultimate Alfresco Experience
The team at All About Shade was entrusted with enhancing the outdoor dining experience at Lantern on the Quay. The primary objectives were to provide a comfortable and inviting space for diners while mitigating the challenges posed by the harsh wind and sun typical of the Western Australian climate.

The use of Visiontex® Mesh in Graphite, a high-quality mesh with 94% UV protection supplied by HVG Fabrics, ensures that the harsh Australian sun is kept at bay. This creates a comfortable ambience for diners and stops the napkins from flying off the tables. Additionally, the mesh contributes to energy efficiency, allowing for a naturally cool environment that doesn’t compromise the views of the quay.
