This Como installation was designed for a very practical purpose: protecting the pool pump and equipment from constant sun exposure.

Pool equipment often sits outside in harsh conditions year-round, with direct UV, heat and weather all contributing to wear over time. By installing a Roof to Fence Blind across the exposed side of the equipment area, the owners now have a simple way to reduce exposure and help protect the system from unnecessary damage.

The key benefit of this pool pump cover is that it remains easy to access and avoids bulk boxing that restricts access. The blind can be lowered for day-to-day protection, then quickly retracted when the pool equipment needs to be checked, serviced or maintained.

It is a neat, practical solution that helps protect important equipment without needing to build a permanent enclosure.

For this installation, 1 x Roof to Fence Blind was selected to help protect the pool pump and equipment area from direct sun, UV exposure and weather.

All aluminium components were powder coated to suit the existing surroundings, helping the installation sit neatly within the space. HVG Fabrics supplied Visiontex® Plus Mesh in Limestone, offering 94% UV protection.
