Carey Park | Iron Stone Auto Lock Awning

This Carey Park installation was designed to help reduce heat through the front of the home while adding privacy from the busy street.

The exposed window was allowing direct sun to hit the glass, which can quickly warm up the room inside and increase reliance on air conditioning. By installing an Auto Lock Awning, the owners now have a simple way to block the harsh sun before it enters the home.

The Iron Stone Visiontex® Plus Mesh helps reduce glare, heat and UV exposure while still allowing natural light through. That means the room can feel more comfortable during warmer parts of the day without needing to be closed off completely.

The awning also adds a useful layer of daytime privacy from the street, making the front of the home feel more comfortable and practical.

For this installation, 1 x Auto Lock Awning was selected to provide shade, heat control and privacy at the front of the home.

All aluminium components were powder coated to suit the existing exterior, helping the awning sit neatly against the home. HVG Fabrics supplied Visiontex® Plus Mesh in Iron Stone, offering 94% UV protection.
