By installing Auto Lock Awnings, the owners now have a simple way to block harsh sun before it reaches the glass. This helps reduce indoor heat build-up, keeps the home more comfortable, and can help limit rising energy costs from increased air conditioning use.

The Graphite mesh also gives the front of the home a clean, understated finish while still allowing natural light through.

For this installation, 4 x Auto Lock Awnings were selected to provide practical sun protection and help improve indoor comfort.

By blocking direct sun before it hits the windows, the awnings help reduce heat transfer into the home. This can make the interior feel more comfortable during summer and reduce the need to rely as heavily on air conditioning.

The awnings can be lowered when the sun is strongest, then raised again when extra shade is not needed. To provide the UV protection HVG Fabrics supplied Visiontex® Plus Mesh in Graphite with 94% UV protection.
