Bridgetown | Black Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds

Recently installed in Bridgetown.

This Bridgetown outdoor area had the bones of a great entertaining space, but it needed more protection from the changing South West conditions. With open sides around the patio, the area was still exposed to wind, rain, sun and insects, which can make it harder to use comfortably throughout the year.

By installing Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds around the entertaining area, the space now feels more enclosed and practical without becoming a permanent room. The blinds can be lowered when extra protection is needed, then raised again when the owners want to open the area back up.

The Black Visiontex® Plus Mesh gives the installation a clean, modern finish while helping reduce glare, UV exposure and weather coming through the patio. It is a practical upgrade for a home where the outdoor area is clearly designed to be used often.

For this installation, 3 x Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds were selected to help enclose the outdoor entertaining area and make it more comfortable in changing weather. The track-guided system is a strong fit for this type of patio, as it allows the blinds to stop at different heights and stay neatly secured within the side channels.

All aluminium components were powder coated to work with the existing structure, creating a clean and consistent finish.

HVG Fabrics supplied Visiontex® Plus Mesh in Black, offering 94% UV protection. The darker mesh works well with the outdoor setting and helps reduce sun, glare, wind and light rain while still allowing the space to feel connected to the outdoors.
