Installed in: Bibra Lake, 6163
This Bibra Lake patio backs onto a garden that’s clearly had years of care put into it. Established shrubs, a frangipani leaning in over the roofline, roses along the fence line. The old blinds enclosing the space had done their job for years, but they’d reached the point where it was time for a proper refresh rather than another patch-up.
Three motorised Ziptrak® Café Blinds now take their place, running in Clear PVC rather than a shade mesh. The difference is what stays visible. Instead of trading the garden view for weatherproofing, the whole outlook stays on show, wind and rain included, whatever the sky is doing.

The old blinds came down and the new ones went up in the same spots, reusing the existing flashings for a clean fit with no extra work to the structure. Each blind runs on Alpha 24V motors, finished in Classic Cream to match the existing fascia, with an XL flap fitted for a better seal along the top.
Sizes vary across the three openings, from 1.87m up to 3.92m at the widest, all running to a 2.25m drop. Nothing about the fit is generic. Each blind was set to the exact opening it replaced.

For a garden-facing alfresco like this, Clear PVC Ziptrak® Blinds can help:
- Keep the view on show instead of trading it for shade or privacy
- Block wind and rain without closing the space in visually
- Refresh a tired or ageing blind setup without altering the structure
- Bring motorised, one-touch control to blinds of any width
- Suit patios where the garden or outlook is the main drawcard
