This East Fremantle patio was already most of the way there. A covered roofline, a decorative laser-cut screen running along the fence, and just one open stretch left between the two, letting the sun and weather straight through the gap.
A single Roof to Fence Blind now closes that last section, running from the roofline down to the fence at 2.6m wide. Rather than a straightforward drop, the fit needed two steel posts at different heights, one under the eaves at 2.6m and another out to 3.2m, to follow the angle of the roof down to the fence line properly.
The mesh runs in a dark, 98% UV block fabric, set in a Monument powder-coated frame that matches the tone of the existing screen almost exactly. From a distance, the blind reads as part of the original design rather than something added on afterwards.
